Frequently asked questions
- When do I get my API key?
- As soon as you approve the subscription in PayPal you are sent back to your account page, and the key is shown there. It is shown once — copy it somewhere safe, because only a hash of it is stored.
- What happens if I cancel?
- The key stops working on the next request after PayPal tells the service the subscription has been cancelled. Nothing else changes, and no further payments are taken.
- Is there a free tier or a trial?
- No trial, and no charge for checking either: the homepage tells you for free whether your file can be corrected, and you pay only for the corrected copy — £29 a month for up to 1,000 files, or £3.99 for one.
Only need one file fixed? £3.99 buys a single repair. Already subscribed? Your account page checks how many repairs have been counted against your key.
